A month ago, a touching video of a rescued blind cow who loved music went viral on the Internet.
After living with a farmer for several years, she was not sent to the slaughterhouse, but was taken to a special facility where animals such as the aforementioned blind cows were cared for.

Helen is a 19-year-old cow who has developed a special friendship with her owner – she was born blind, but always responded to the farmer’s feelings. The cow was blind, so her owner spent a lot of time with her and helped her in many ways.
After living together for several years, they became friends, and the farmer decided that he would never send Helen’s cows to slaughter. When it’s time to say goodbye, he donates his cow to Uncle Neil’s Home, a small shelter that cares for animals like Helen.

He previously lived in a stable for 19 years, so he had to get used to the new conditions of the shelter. There he quickly made new friends who did everything for him – and in his own way returned the love to the caretakers of the shelter, brightening up many of their days. Caregivers soon discovered that Helen loved music, and her favorite song was “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” by the late Hawaiian Israeli “Brudda Iz” Kamakawiwool.
