The octopus featured in this video was stranded when the tide suddenly went out and he could not swim away to deeper waters. Had the guy filming the octopus not seen it, the creature would have died when the waters completely subsided.

This guy does a heroic act to save the octopus and prevent its death. After the octopus had been released, it comes back to do something no one would have ever expected.
