Actor Keanu Reeves is not only one of the hottest men in Hollywood, but also one of the best in the industry. Aside from his reputation as a suave guy, Reeves is a true action star whose cinematography speaks for itself. Among his most notable works are John Wick, the Matrix franchise, romantic comedies, dramas and thrillers.

There are many examples of why Reeves is considered such a nice guy. This became evident again when the unassuming superstar dropped into a British pub for lunch without much fanfare and delighted the staff with his courtesy and kindness.

Before Reeves rocked up to the local pub in Hertfordshire, he had already made waves in Britain by popping up when and where he was least expected. On one such occasion, he even crashed a wedding!

On Aug. 22, 2022, English groom James Roadnight was on a high after just having exchanged vows with his bride, Nikki, in Northamptonshire when he spotted the Hollywood legend at the wedding venue’s bar. In his exhilaration, the newlywed approached Reeves and invited him to have a drink and join in the celebrations.

“He was very friendly and said he would later on. We didn’t know if he would or not but it was cool that my husband had spoken to him!” Nikki had said. Lo and behold, the “Speed” star returned later and accommodated some of the guests with conversation and photos.

Reeves’ unofficial tour of spreading joy in the United Kingdom didn’t end there. Two days later, on Aug. 24, 2022, the manager of a quaint village pub in Charwelton, Northamptonshire, got the shock of his life when he saw the “Point Break” actor walk through his establishment’s doors.

Fox and Hounds manager Danny Ricks said initially, he couldn’t quite believe his eyes.

“I had to a double-take when he first walked through the door,” Ricks told BBC.

“I thought ‘that looks a lot like Keanu Reeves.’”

He told the outlet while he and his colleague, Laura James, were starstruck, they managed to “stay professional” while Reeves ordered a Caesar salad and a falafel dish.

“We did manage to get a picture with him at the end,” he added.

“He was absolutely lovely. It made everyone’s evening.”

On February 4, 2023, the staff of the local Robin Hood pub in Tring, Hertfordshire, gathered for their usual Saturday service, which none other than Reeves decided to attend. It was expected to attract such Hollywood stars. Bartender Laura Rolf told Metro she couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the “Sweet November” star around 12:30 p.m.

“The door opened, and here he is!” he said, adding that he couldn’t help but curse the owner of the pub, Stuart Canham. Scott Valentine, one of the pub’s junior chefs, told the BBC that Reeves and two others ordered two shepherd’s pies and two large fish and chips.

“I was a little worried because I needed to cook for him, but we brought him this. He thanked me and it was very nice,” said 18-year-old Valentina. He added that after the party finished eating, the actor was asked if he would like to greet the waiters.

“He came into the kitchen and shook hands with us and said the food was delicious,” Valentine said.

Later that day, the restaurant shared a photo of Reeves at the bar on their Facebook page, praising the low-key actor for his relaxed demeanor.

“So we had a surprise guest for dinner tonight… What a wonderful person he was,” read the caption. “Laura asked if she could take a picture with the guys in the kitchen. He entered the kitchen, shook hands with them and complimented their food. Suffice it to say that he made their days!!!”
