Two stray puppies were rescued and adopted by Buddhist nuns in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, reported Australia’s Daily Mail in 2016.
These images circulated on the social network Weibo. They show proof of how much these puppies love each other.

What an embrace!

But this story is not without controversy.

Some people think the pups have been trained to sit that way. And rightfully so. Dogs don’t normally sit in a Buddha-like position.

Some people think the pups have been trained to sit that way. And rightfully so. Dogs don’t normally sit in a Buddha-like position.

One critic commenting on the story at PawMyGosh.com maintains that the puppies were born at the temple, the nuns taught them to stand and hug, and that there was no happy ending — the black puppy passed away.

While we may not know what really happened here, one thing is clear: These two puppies love each other!
