A video that captured an extraordinary moment of a lynx in a quiet winter setting recently caught the attention of online viewers.
The video shows the lynx crossing a frozen stream in the forest and making an incredible leap, beautifully captured on a trail camera.
The incredible moment was captured a year ago by wildlife photographer Sander Hollo in an Estonian forest. The video was also posted on Facebook this week and quickly went viral across Europe for its stunning depiction of nature in action.
The Eurasian lynx, Europe’s largest wild cat, grows up to 150 cm (59 in) long and 65 cm (25 in) wide. In captivity, these amazing animals can live for 25 years, while in the wild they live an average of 8 years and a maximum of 18 years.
