A few seconds before the train passed the station, the child was pulled from the road. Surveillance video shows the child slowing down and standing on the platform. They kneel, crawl backward, and slide onto the train tracks below. A man and child jumped dangerously close to the railroad tracks. He takes the child and places him next to the adult he is traveling with. Just 13 seconds after they both derailed, a Grand Central Rail train passed by.
