Whenever Lon Watson visits his daughter Katie Hall, he usually finds her sleeping on the couch. However, all the neighbors’ dogs come to bed, so dad is never alone.

Watson, who works for local rescue Pound on the Hill, has always loved animals. He dedicated his life to rescuing dogs and finding them forever homes. Katie says her family has kept her with dogs since she was a child.

Since her marriage, Katie has regularly visited her parents’ home, which has room for several dogs. His father is still doing everything he can to find the dog a forever home. Katie’s parents now have four dogs, but Rosie, Fluffer-Nutter and Hutch, other local dogs, spend a lot of time at home.

All the dogs love Lon so much that they can wait for him to get home from work, play with him, and even take a cozy nap with him. Katie says it’s a daily routine for her dad and the dogs. How wonderful!
