Amira, a two-legged dog, inspires people around the world. Amira was found through the Soi Dog Foundation, which cares for street dogs in Thailand. Across the world in Canada, Lara Palance saw Amira’s rescue on social media and knew the one-eyed, two-legged dog had to be part of her family.
Palance said 20 companies told him Amira was not a candidate for prosthetics, but she eventually received a prosthesis and is walking successfully.
