When Andrea Gaylord returned home after the Camp fire and saw what was left of her home, she was thrilled and completely shocked to see that her pet had survived.

Madison waited patiently for the dog, Gaylord, to come home. So she called Sheila Sullivan, an animal rescue volunteer, to check on their property.

The volunteer was already caring for Andrea’s other pet, Miguel. He said he left Madison’s Anatolian Shepherd with water and food. The best feeling is seeing your dog and thinking that you miss him.
