Nanook is a one year old Australian Shepherd. Her family was visiting friends when she went for a walk with another dog named Starlight. A month after Nanuk’s disappearance, the family took a photo of the dog and immediately knew it was theirs. It alone was 166 miles above the sea ice. The kind strangers who saved Nanook took her on a charter flight. His family was waiting for him when the plane landed.
