Recently, former US Navy SEAL Mike Ritland decided to say goodbye to his K9 mate Carlos.

Mike shared a post on Facebook describing the great work Carlos has done over the past 15 years!

Mike was able to adopt Carlos permanently after he stopped being a roommate for a few years! Mike will wrap Carlos in the US flag he carries with him to every operation to show him how much he appreciates it!

Before he died, the dog was also given his favorite food, steak, so he could die in peace! That’s lovely!
