This black stork has finally been released. The bird was discovered last year. The feathers on his wings were cut off and he could not fly. He was wounded while wandering in southeastern Turkey. When they found him, he was weak and hungry. For the past eight months, the Department of Conservation and the National Park have been working tirelessly to keep the storks healthy.
