She found a lot of fries in it and opened the mouth of the cichlid.

Natalia Tsareniya, a 36-year-old resident of Minsk, Belarus, opened the jaws of her cichlid in July 2021 and found several fish eggs inside.

Cichlid eggs are stored in the mouth of female fish for 21-25 days.

Natalia knew the fries were ready to be released, but without human intervention, the cichlids could produce potatoes without any precautions, meaning they could get eaten by other fish in the tank.
