When the shocked woman heard a noise in the bathroom, she opened the lid behind the toilet and found a pigeon inside.

Valeria Mokretsova, 28, from Melitopol, Ukraine, was in the bathroom when she noticed the noise coming from the back wall.

At first Valeria thought it was a sewer mouse, but found out that the pigeon had sneaked in from the inside.

With a little help from her husband, Valeria managed to pull the pigeon out into the street.
